The calmness of being submerged in water has always resonate well with me and i’m sure it resonates with others too. When I was younger I used to sit on the loo seat chatting my mum about our day whilst she bathed, it was unfiltered company that lacked a sense of vulnerability. This sculpture reflects this personal memory of mine; a carefree figure with a shower cap on in deep bath washing themselves with a flannel.
