'The freedom of me, is being with you'. This sculpture has captured a snippet of time in which a figure is running along with 3 deer. It's made in a 2D form mounted onto a panel for wall hanging, this is to allow the sculpture 'to come into the room' and invite viewers to engage with it.

I created this sculpture based on a small snippet in time, a wet windy morning. I saw deer leaping across fields in the distance, only just able to see them through the hedges moving in the wind. On that particular morning I was feeling sad, lost, and overwhelmed, wanting to be anywhere else. These deer and figure represent that passing moment, their freedom and my imagination.
