Inspired by my mum, who loves a bath as much as I do. As a child, I would chat to her about my day whilst she bathed- a simple moment of closeness and comfort. This sculpture captures that feeling: a vulnerable figure, shower cap on, soaking in a bath of beautiful melted glass. The flannel draped over the edge is a small but essential detail.
