The moon is a fascinating ‘object’ which appear in all type of folklore, with all kinds of fascinating legends and myths associated with the moon and its cycles. When the moon appears in books I’ve read, it seems to resemble this cheeky character and quite moody.

I was also lured into making this moon because the weather kept changing including my studio lighting (Janurary UK time), with the clouds coming over threatening to storm.
